Proof Positive

After reading that last post, my soon-to-be-brother-in-law (who is an incredibly intelligent guy in the world of biology and law) shared this picture with me. Thought you'd all enjoy it as well. It's titled "New Jesey children play in a fog of DDT in 1948." My parents were born in 1949...you see, we all turned out alright!

"Alright" is a relative term it seems, Dan :) Although it is comforting to know that 2 generations later, children are not presenting with the same abnormalities (at least by age 15 months since JJ is still so wonderfully perfect)

Love that picture! It proves NJ may be known for its deer tics, its mosquitoes, its landfills and its termites. It may be famous for its turnpike, its hot, sticky summers, its hypodermic needle infested beachs and the mob. But we're NOT known for having any significant MALARIA outbreaks...!!!
